These workshops are designed to teach basic computer skills to beginners and intermediate computer users that want to sharpen their skills and seniors in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Computer Operations and Concepts Workshop
If you are looking for some help to learn new or enhance existing computer skills, you have found the right place. In this workshop you will learn how to identify hardware componenets (keyboard, mouse, monitor, etc…) name and save files into the appropriate spot on your computer, print documents and more!
Computer Security Issues Workshop
This course helps orient beginners the basics of computer security. Learn about anti-virus programs, malware programs, how to know if you are being scammed on the phone or internet and more!

This introductory course helps orient beginners to Word. Learn how to create, edit, print and save documents, as well as use formatting tools to adjust headers and footers. You will also learn how to create PDF’s.
Workshops are held in 2 sessions, 1 hour each session spread out over a 2 week period.
